Smaller Improvements

A few smaller changes across the platform:

• Give each topic a color. New topics get an unused color, and the color shows up in the prompts, sentiment, and topics tables and in topic filters.
• The Usage Overview is a grid of cards, one per limit, and the Billing page uses the same cards. When your active monitors need more responses than your plan includes, it shows the estimate and the plan that covers it.
• White-label organizations can export and schedule PDF reports with their own branding.
• The citations tab has a monitor filter.
• Google AI Overview and AI Mode responses show their videos in a two-column grid and list their ads separately from the answer.
• The API returns a prompt's average position, and site audit insights are available through the API and MCP.
• Agent Chat can rank prompts by how much their visibility changed over 7, 14, 30, or 90 days.

Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

A round of fixes across the platform to keep things running smoothly:

• Query Fanouts search only matches the fanout text, the export follows what the table shows, and long fanouts stay on one line.
• The responses export applies your date range and monitor filter.
• Dashboard PDF reports show the project name below the title.
• Framer publishing no longer fails on removed options or image fields, and a CMS schema is reloaded when the CMS rejects a write.
• The WordPress integration follows trailing-slash redirects.
• The citations table keeps its page on reload and goes back to page one only when a filter changes. The Shopping table does the same.
• Response previews no longer show raw image markdown.
• Site audits count only pages that are actually served as orphans, skip content checks on redirected pages, and keep a finished run's content depth after re-checks.
• The Shopping table's product column can be resized, and the LinkedIn citations table is cleaned up.
• Heatmaps hide models that no monitor still tracks, and the query fanout themes heatmap no longer shows an empty Perplexity column.
• Analysis instructions are saved with the Brand Book form.

Shopping: Filter by Model and Date

Filter the Shopping overview by AI model and date range to see which products each model recommends, and how that changed over time.

Visitor Analytics: Count ChatGPT Visits Without a Referrer

ChatGPT stopped sending a referrer on October 8, so visits from ChatGPT started showing up as direct traffic. ChatGPT has acknowledged the bug and still adds `utm_source=chatgpt.com` to its links. Turn on Include ChatGPT UTM referrers in Visitor Analytics to count those visits as ChatGPT again.

• Visits that arrive without a referrer are attributed to their UTM source. A real referrer always wins, so nothing is counted twice.
• With the toggle on, UTM-tagged visits are added to the ChatGPT card and trend line.

AI Chat Side Panel on Monitor Pages

The AI chat panel from the content editor now opens next to your monitors. On a monitor's overview, prompts, responses, and citations tabs, ask about what's on screen and the agent answers from that page, with the filters and date range you have set.

• The panel stays open while you move between a monitor's tabs and detail views, so you can keep one conversation going.
• Each message shows which tab it was sent from, and the chat tells you when you've moved since your last message.
• Table questions are answered for the whole filtered list, not just the rows on the current page.

Custom Dashboards: Templates & Building From Agent Chat

Start a custom dashboard from a template instead of an empty page, or ask Agent Chat to build one for you.

• Four templates: competitor comparison, topic gaps, AI model breakdown, and citations. Each one sets up its widgets and their settings. Pick one in the New dashboard dialog or from an empty dashboard.
• Agent Chat and MCP can create and edit dashboards from widgets, saved filters, and widget settings, or start from a template. Dashboards made in chat are personal by default.
• A new Top LinkedIn Posts widget shows the LinkedIn posts AI models cite most.

Weekly Site Audit Email

Every Tuesday you get an email with the latest site audit for your projects: the health score, how many issues were fixed since the last audit, and the top issues that AI crawlers may trip over, with a link to Site Health for each project. You can turn it off under email preferences in your user settings.

Content Agent: Write About Any Topic, Fanout, or Cited Page

The content agent no longer needs a tracked prompt. Under **What to write about**, choose **Describe a topic** to write about any subject, or **Target a tracked prompt** to use its query fanouts and the competitor pages AI engines already cite. You can also start an article straight from the places where you spot a gap.

• Click Create content on an Answer Gap task, a query fanout, or a cited page to open the content agent with that context filled in.
• From a cited page, pick which citing prompt to answer. The chooser shows the page's average position, share of citations, and citing models for each prompt, and whether your own site is cited too. The page is added as a reference for the agent.
• Add your own competitor URLs as sources, up to five per article.
• Projects without tracked prompts can create content too.

Heatmap: Compare Any Two Dimensions

The competitor heatmap is now a general heatmap. Put brands, models, topics, or countries on either axis, and color the cells by visibility, sentiment, position, share of voice, or win rate.

• Switch the axes with one click. Your choice of axes and metric is remembered.
• Available on monitor pages, as a custom dashboard widget, and in PDF reports.

AI Chat in the Content Editor

The content editor has an AI chat panel next to the draft. Open it with the AI chat button in the header or ⌘J, and ask it to rewrite, extend, or check the article you're working on. The agent reads the whole draft, long ones section by section, and edits it in place, so you don't have to copy text back and forth.

• Every edit shows up as a card in the chat that you can revert or reapply. Changed text flashes in the editor so you can see what moved.
• Select a passage to send it to the chat, or use the quick actions to shorten, extend, simplify, or restructure it.
• Send more prompts while the agent is still working. They queue up and run in order.
• The context button estimates the credits per step for the selected model, and each reply shows the credits it used.
• Chats are saved per article, so you can pick up an earlier conversation from the panel.

Smaller Improvements

A few smaller changes across the platform:

• GEO 360 Topic insights can sort topics by pages, crawls, citations, or clicks, in either direction.
• Offsite Mentions leaves out your own site. If your brand domain includes a path, only that path counts as your site, not the whole host.
• Visitor analytics recognizes more AI referrers, including DeepSeek, Kimi, Mistral, and claude.com. Microsoft 365 Copilot visits count as Copilot.
• The usage modal shows responses from deleted prompts, so current plus deleted adds up to the total you've used.
• Cloudflare Logpush is now the default crawler log setup for WP Engine, Webflow, Shopify, and Kinsta sites.
• Invite several teammates at once from the team page, and see who created each project on the projects settings page.
• Content lists show a preview of each piece on hover, and the menu items are now called Content Creation and Content Refresh.
• Monitor lists show how many models each monitor runs, and a sitemap page's prompts and responses sit in tabs on one page.
• Query Fanouts opens on the full query list. The per-prompt view is one tab over.
• When you hit your article limit you're offered extra articles, with the next tier already selected, instead of a plan change.
• Citation sources have a new Directory type for listing and directory sites.
• The project wizard lets you skip prompt setup, and the knowledge base lists more than 25 documents.

Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

A round of fixes across the platform to keep things running smoothly:

• Brand aliases and curly apostrophes are matched when finding brand mentions on cited pages.
• Chart days are labelled by their UTC day, so a point no longer shows the day before.
• A Search Console error on one project no longer marks the shared Google account as broken for every project.
• Publishing to a CMS keeps image width, alignment, and inline images. Tables render in Webflow rich text.
• LinkedIn citations of reshared posts no longer put the reshared text in the title.
• The response limit forecast is based on your prompt schedule, so it no longer predicts running out early right after a renewal.
• GEO 360 topic averages count missing values as zero instead of skipping them.
• Scheduled reports wait while their monitor is paused, schedules of deleted projects don't count toward your limit, and PDFs no longer show grey frames in Apple Preview.

Analysis Instructions: Decide What Counts as a Mention

The Brand Book has a new Analysis instructions card. Write plain-language rules, up to 1,000 characters, for what should count as a mention of your brand and your competitors. Promptwatch applies them when it analyzes new responses, so visibility, sentiment, share of voice, and competitor rankings follow your rules. Responses that were already analyzed keep their results.

API: 92-Day Date Ranges & Pitch Projects

The REST v2 API and MCP server accept date ranges of up to 92 days, so a full three-month window from Looker or another BI tool no longer gets rejected. Agencies can also create pitch projects through the API and MCP. They count toward your pitch project allowance, not your regular projects.

Track Your Visibility in Codex and Claude Code

Codex and Claude Code are now available as models for every customer. Add them to a monitor to see whether coding agents recommend your product when developers ask them to pick a tool, library, or service. Both search the web while they answer, and their query fanouts are collected like the other models.

• Monitors that already use the older Claude Code model keep it. New monitors use the new Claude Code model.

Scheduled PDF Reports for Custom Dashboards

Custom dashboards can now be exported and scheduled as PDF reports. The report contains the widgets you put on the dashboard, in the same order, and is titled with the dashboard's name. A schedule follows its dashboard, so if you change the widgets or rename the dashboard, the next report picks that up.

• Team dashboards can be scheduled to anyone with access to the project. Personal dashboards can be scheduled to their owner only.
• The "View report in app" link in the email opens the dashboard as it's saved, so you can keep exploring from the live page.
• Deleting a dashboard stops its schedules. Making a team dashboard personal asks for confirmation first, because it stops other people's reports.
• Monitor reports use the same widgets as the dashboard.

Content Agent: Better Internal Links

The Content Agent now looks for relevant pages on your site before it starts writing, so links to them are part of the article from the first draft. Pages that get many Search Console impressions but few clicks are suggested first. It also stopped linking your homepage every time the brand name comes up.

Audit Log

Organization settings has a new Audit log. It lists every change made in your organization, who or what made it, and when, whether it came from the dashboard, the API, MCP clients, or Agent Chat. Filter by person, source, or outcome, or search by action. The audit log is available to organization owners on Business plans and higher.

Social Channels: See Citations of Your Own Accounts

Add the Reddit, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts your brand runs on the new Social channels page. Then turn on My channels on any of those platforms under Sources to see only the citations of your own subreddits, channels, pages, and profiles.

Agent Chat: Charts, Follow-Up Questions & Bing Webmaster

Agent Chat now draws charts when an answer is easier to read as one, including answers from its research agents. Period comparisons are overlaid in one chart, and colors match their meaning, like your brand versus competitors. When a request is unclear, the agent asks a short multiple-choice question before it starts, and at the end of a turn it can suggest next steps you pick with one click.

• Bing Webmaster is now in the agent's tool picker, next to Search Console, so you can ask about Bing clicks and crawls.
• Skip a question and the agent carries on with what it has.

Custom Dashboards: Choose & Order Widgets

Custom dashboards are no longer a copy of the Overview. Add the widgets you want, such as brand visibility, sentiment, visibility by country, the competitor heatmap, top cited domains and URLs, and top YouTube videos and Reddit posts, then drag them into order. New dashboards start empty and open in edit mode. You can also find any saved dashboard from the command menu.

Content Gaps Show What the Content Agent Is Doing

Content gap recommendations now show whether the Content Agent has picked them up, reviewed and held them back (with the reason), or queued them for its next planning run. The same status shows per prompt in the content gap table. If a draft already exists, whether you wrote it or the agent did, View document is the main action, so you're not asked to create the same piece twice.

• Turning on the Content Agent clears content gap cards from the action board that it now handles itself.
• Open recommendations stay visible below the ones that have been handled.

New Data Reports: August 2026

Three new data reports on what AI engines cited in August 2026:

• ChatGPT citation types over time: a daily breakdown of product pages, listicles, news, how-tos, and more.
• ChatGPT citation share by domain rank, from DR 0-15 up to DR 91-100.
• LinkedIn citation page types across ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, and Perplexity.

Prompts: Topics by Competitor & by Position

The Topics tab on the prompts page has two new views next to the default table. By Competitor is a heatmap of visibility per topic for your brand and your competitors. By Position ranks the brands per topic. Both follow the date picker and can be searched and filtered by tag.

Visitor Analytics on Agency Plans

Agency plans now include visitor analytics: 500K monthly page hits on Kick-off, 2M on Growth, and 15M on Scale. You can see how much traffic AI search sends to each client's site, next to their AI visibility.

Custom Dashboards

Save the Overview with your own filters as a dashboard. Each saved dashboard gets its own tab and keeps its date range, models, prompt types, topics, and monitors, so the view you check every week is one click away. Share a dashboard with the team or keep it personal.

• Set a team dashboard as the default and it opens whenever someone goes to the project.
• Change a filter on a saved dashboard and you can reset it, update the dashboard, or save the changes as a new one.
• The dashboard URL carries every filter, so a shared link opens exactly the view you saw.
• Rename, duplicate, or delete a dashboard from its tab menu, and move it between personal and team.

Smaller Improvements

A few smaller changes across the platform:

• The top cited domains card can show 7, 14, 21, or 28 domains instead of a fixed seven.
• Page Tracker uses the date picker for clicks, crawls, prompts, and responses. The range is capped at 90 days.
• New projects show nine models to pick from, including GPT OSS 120B.
• Removing a sitemap asks for confirmation first.
• People who accept an invite without a name on their account are asked to add one.

• Brand Book edits are kept when data refreshes in the background or you keep typing during a save.
• Search insights pages sort by the selected engine's clicks.

• Monitors can only target countries from the Target Country picker.
• PDF reports leave out chart sections that have no data.
• The action agent no longer suggests archived or locked Reddit posts.
• Dashboard panels no longer overflow at narrow widths.

Usage Alerts Before You Hit Your Limits

When your organization reaches 85% of its agent credits, articles, or prompt responses, Promptwatch opens the usage overview once so you see it coming. Credits and articles can be topped up with an add-on right there; for responses you get a plan upgrade. Only organization owners see these alerts.

Starting Prompts for New Monitors

Creating a monitor now suggests a set of starting prompts before you save, so a new monitor starts collecting answers right away instead of sitting empty. New projects also get two extra monitors after onboarding, each aimed at a different country or city, so you see how your visibility changes between markets from day one.

Prompt Explorer: Prompts From Ranking Keywords

Prompt Explorer has a new Ranking keywords tab. Enter a page or domain and Promptwatch looks up the Google keywords it ranks for, then turns them into prompt suggestions you can add to a monitor. It sits next to the Search Console, People also asked, seed query, and website page sources.

API: Search Insights, LinkedIn Citations, Usage & One-Call Project Setup

The REST v2 API and MCP server picked up several new endpoints. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster page and trend data are available per engine, LinkedIn citations sit next to Reddit and YouTube, and organization-level keys can read a usage report with plan totals and a per-project breakdown. Agencies can also create a project, enrich it, and generate up to three monitors with prompts in a single call, and the MCP createMonitor tool accepts the same prompt options as REST.

Content Agent: Bulk Actions & Content in the Prompt's Language

Select several pieces on the Content Agent page and accept, decline, or publish them in one go. Failed pieces can now be deleted, from the bulk toolbar or the detail sheet, with an option to delete the linked draft as well. Content is also written in the language of the target prompt or monitor, so a Dutch prompt gets a Dutch article without changing any settings.

Prompts: Rank by Topic & Model Filter

The prompts page can now rank brands per topic. Each topic row shows the top 10 brands by visibility over the last 30 days, with your own brand highlighted, so you can see who owns each topic at a glance. The By rank view can be exported, and the prompts list has a model filter that also scopes the prompt type and intent bars.

AI-Generated Persona Avatars

New personas get a generated portrait that shows up in the Brand Book and on response cards, with a letter placeholder while the image is being made. Personas also have an optional gender field.

Live Previews in Every Export

Every export dialog now shows a 10-row preview next to its filters, so you can check the output before you download it. Most export types also let you pick which columns to include, and the responses export was redesigned around the new layout.

• The citations export has a per-URL total citations column.
• The brand rank export includes every brand mention instead of a capped list.

New Project Setup Guide

The onboarding checklist in the sidebar now opens a setup guide. Tasks are grouped into steps, and adding a sitemap, inviting teammates, and connecting Google Search Console can be done right inside the guide. Items that don't apply to you can be dismissed.

Tracking Keeps Running During Payment Retries

A failed payment no longer pauses your data. While a subscription is past due, prompt responses, crawler logs, visitor analytics, and Search Console and Bing syncs keep running, so there are no gaps in your charts once the invoice is paid. Chat, reports, publishing, and the Content Agent stay paused until then.

AI Field Mapping & AI Fill for Webflow and Framer

Connecting Webflow or Framer now suggests how each CMS field should be filled, and Promptwatch can use AI to fill fields that don't map to anything in the article, like categories, references, or custom text. Field help text from your CMS is shown in the mapping, and AI-filled fields are marked so you know which values were generated.

• Before a draft is pushed you can review every AI-filled value, see why it was chosen, and edit it.
• If the Content Agent publishes automatically and a required field has a low-confidence value, the piece is staged as a draft for review instead of going live.
• Required fields can't be left empty, and a deliberate blank is shown differently from a failed fill.

Stackable Page Path Filters

Visitor and crawler analytics can now stack include and exclude rules on page paths, matched partially or exactly. Every chart, table, and crawler export on the page uses the same filter, so you can, for example, look at blog traffic without the tag pages. GEO 360 Topic insights also has a page URL filter that narrows the landscape, top topic cards, and topic sheet to matching pages.

Crawler Logs for WordPress

WordPress is now an option in the crawler log setup. Install the Promptwatch plugin, paste an API key, and AI crawler visits start coming in without touching your server or CDN config.

Country-Level Tracking on Every Paid Plan

Essential and Professional plans can now run monitors in any supported country, the same as Business and agency plans. Explore stays tied to the project's country.

New Data Report: AI Crawler Traffic by Industry

A 12-month snapshot of IP-verified AI crawler traffic, broken down by industry. Pick an industry to see which crawlers visit most and compare your own mix to peers, grouped by crawler or by provider.

New Free Tool: Agentic Readiness Check

Check whether AI agents can work with your site. Enter a domain and the tool shows which AI crawlers can reach it and which agent standards it supports, including llms.txt, MCP, A2A, OAuth discovery, and Content Signals. Every result gets a shareable page.

GEO 360: Topic Insights

The 360 Dashboard has a new Topic insights tab. Every page on your site is grouped into topics, and each topic shows how many pages it covers and the average AI crawls, citations, and clicks those pages get. A bubble chart lays out the whole landscape, so you can see at a glance which topics AI engines pick up and which ones sit idle.

• Sort the landscape by most activity, most crawled, or most cited, and switch between averages and absolute numbers.
• Zoom from all topics into topic groups and subtopics, and click a bubble to open the pages, crawls, citations, and LLM citations behind it.
• Best, worst, and most popular topics are called out below the chart: which topics earn the most AI activity per page, which underdeliver for their footprint, and which cover the most pages.
• The first hundred topics load right away and the rest page in as you scroll.

Competitor Sentiment Heatmaps

Two new tabs on the Sentiment page show how AI talks about you next to your competitors. By topic lays out sentiment per brand for every topic you track. By competitor gives one row per brand with the sentiment split across positive, neutral, and negative, so you can see where a competitor wins the tone and you don't.

• Your own brand always sits in the first row, and picking specific competitors overrides the default cap.
• Both tabs share the brand picker and export button with the rest of Sentiment.

LinkedIn Citation Tracking

Socials now covers LinkedIn alongside Reddit and YouTube. See which LinkedIn posts and authors AI answers cite for your prompts, how often, and how that changes over time. Filter by prompt, topic, or tag, and export the table like any other citation view.

API: Share of Voice, Models Filter & Docs Search in Agent Chat

The REST v2 API and MCP server now return the same share of voice you see on the dashboard, on the responses summary and brand visibility endpoints. Response analytics and query fan-outs accept a models filter, and citation rank comes back as a 1-based answer position. Agent Chat can also search the Promptwatch docs, so questions about how a feature works get answered from the documentation instead of a guess.

Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

A round of fixes across the platform to keep things running smoothly:

• Verified crawler data now uses historical IP ranges from each provider, so crawler visits from ranges a provider has since retired are counted again instead of being dropped.
• The team member list is only visible to organization owners. Members and viewers no longer see who else is in the organization.
• The onboarding checklist covers Bing Webmaster, Slack, and Agent Chat, and only owners see the invite teammates step.
• Links to actions, comments, and content gap reports open the right sheet on a hard page load.
• Applying prompt selections to all monitors stays in sync with what you picked.
• The feature explainer shows before announcements the first time you open a page.

View Prompts by Topic

The prompts page has a new By topic view. Each topic rolls up its prompts with average visibility, average sentiment, prompt count, and analyzed responses, and expands to show the prompts underneath. Filters work the same way as the default table, so a topic row always matches what you'd see when filtering the list.

Custom Actions & Agent Replies in Comments

The action board is no longer limited to what Promptwatch detects. Create your own actions with a title, description, severity, and status, edit them later, and dismiss accepted items so they leave the board but stay under dismissed actions. @-mention the agent in an action comment and it replies in the thread.

GEO 360: Search Insights With Google & Bing

The 360 Dashboard gets a Search insights tab that puts Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster performance next to your AI data. See clicks, impressions, and top queries per page, split branded from non-branded queries, and open a page to compare its search traffic with AI crawls and citations.

• Weekly windows snap to full weeks, and a banner tells you which date range the search numbers cover.
• Page detail sheets keep the row's totals in the header and cache their live lookups, so opening a page doesn't refire Google and Bing calls.

Content Agent: Meta Titles & Page Tracker Filter

Articles now have a separate meta title. The editor labels the old title as H1 and adds a meta title field that falls back to the H1 when empty. Webflow and Framer field mappings can point at it, and it comes back in the REST v2 and MCP content responses. Page Tracker can filter to pages that came out of the Content Agent, and the competitor picker in the content brief shows how many unique citations each competitor has for the selected prompt.

Earn Agent Credits With a G2 Review

Organizations on Essential or Professional can submit a G2 review from the sidebar. Once approved, you get 2,000 extra agent credits every month for Agent Chat and the Content Agent.

New Free AI Visibility Report

Enter a website and watch a live scan of how AI talks about the brand. The report reads robots.txt, extracts what AI thinks you do, then asks real engines the questions buyers ask. In a couple of minutes you get scores for visibility, mentions, position, citations, and whether AI crawlers can actually read the site.

• A scorecard with visibility, agent readiness, mentions, average position, and citation rate.
• Brand visibility against the competitors AI names, plus the live answers behind the score.
• Agent readiness checks robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemaps, and crawler access, with a fix list you can copy as a prompt.

Agent Chat Can Assign & Comment on Actions

Ask Agent Chat to assign an action or leave a comment, and it writes those updates as itself. They show up on the action timeline so the rest of the team can see what the agent changed.

• Offsite brand mentions still match when a page joins the name with non-breaking spaces or other unusual whitespace.
• A Google Search Console property you can't access no longer takes the shared Google account offline. The error stays on that project until you reconnect.
• Visitor analytics setup checks that data is actually arriving before it marks the integration as done.
• Creating prompts now tells you when some were skipped because they were already tracked.
• Switching projects keeps you on the same section instead of sending you back to the project home.

WordPress Publishing for Every Organization

WordPress publishing is open to every organization, not just the waitlist. Connect the official plugin, set categories and an author on the connection, and Content Agent articles publish with those defaults.

• Install from the WordPress Plugin Directory, or download the ZIP during CMS setup.
• Pick default categories and the WordPress author once. Every publish uses them.
• Headless WordPress sites can set the public blog path so live URLs point at your website.

Visibility by Country

The main dashboard now has a world map of brand visibility. See which countries you show up in, which ones you haven't started tracking yet, and click a country to create a monitor for it.

Visibility Over Time & Latest Score

Visibility charts now separate the period average from the latest score. Switch between Visibility over time, Visibility, Share of Voice, and Position. Prompt detail sheets get the same switcher even when the metric tabs are hidden.

Copy Prompts to Other Monitors

Move is now Copy. Prompts stay on the source monitor, and copies land on the monitors you pick. Locale mismatches are blocked, and the dialog stops you if the copy would go over your prompt limit.

Webflow Localization When Publishing

Articles published to a localized Webflow site now land in the locale that matches the article's language. New items are created across your enabled locales, and later updates don't overwrite translations you already made in Webflow.

See How Content Agent Articles Were Created

Finished drafts include a "How this content was created" card that shows the inputs, research, and internal links behind the article. Internal links prefer pages that already perform in Google Search Console, leftover generation budget can schedule into the next period, and the featured image lives in the editor sidebar.

• Internal links still have to be relevant. Search Console performance only boosts pages that already pass that bar.
