What is BorderxBot?
BorderxBot is Borderxlab's product crawler for Nubestore AI. It visits ecommerce product pages and stores the product information in Borderxlab's database. This is a shopping and recommendation workflow, not a general crawl of editorial pages.
The official BorderxBot page says the crawler can collect product names, descriptions, prices, current promotions, inventory status, variants, and images. Merchants should therefore expect requests to catalog URLs when this bot is active.
Several user-agent forms are documented, including BorderxBot/1.0 (+https://www.nubestore.ai/borderxbot.html) and a Mozilla-compatible form. Each contains the stable BorderxBot token. The record provides no Web Bot Auth signature URL, so a matching header identifies the claimed bot but does not authenticate it.
Borderxlab uses the indexed catalog to generate product recommendations. Its business model includes affiliate programs: a shopper who selects a recommendation is redirected to the merchant's product page, and Borderxlab may earn a commission from a resulting sale.
Crawls may happen in real time or daily, according to the operator. Borderxlab says it rate-limits the traffic and invites site owners to report unexpected request patterns. It does not publish a single fixed crawl interval that applies to every store.
Borderxlab says BorderxBot respects robots.txt. Cloudflare's bot directory records the opposite status, and the page metadata leaves the behavior unknown. The operator's promise is therefore useful but not sufficient for a path that requires a hard access boundary.
A BorderxBot visit can affect whether a product is available to Nubestore's recommendation system and whether its current price or stock information is represented there. The operator page does not say the collected catalog trains a general-purpose AI model. It also does not establish that BorderxBot controls listings in public search engines or unrelated AI assistants.
