Connect MCP to Promptwatch
Overview
The Promptwatch MCP server exposes your AI visibility data to any tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol — Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, OpenAI Codex, and any other MCP-compatible client. It's a hosted server over streamable HTTP, so there's nothing to run: point your client at the Promptwatch MCP URL and authorize.
The tool catalog covers nearly the whole platform. Read tools include visibility and sentiment time series, citations with rank analysis and top pages, Reddit and YouTube citations, prompts and responses, competitor heatmaps, content gaps and query fan-outs, site health, and crawler and visitor analytics. Write tools go further: create and manage prompts, tags, topics, and personas, generate content, manage Content Agent slots, push drafts and publish live to your connected CMS, and create reports and action items — all from your assistant.
Authentication is OAuth or an API key. Access follows the key or consent scope: project-scoped keys see one project, organization keys see them all, and read-only keys make write tools unavailable — safe to hand to an assistant that should only look.
