Connect Vercel to Promptwatch
Overview
Sites hosted on Vercel can stream their access logs to Promptwatch with a log drain. Once connected, every production request to your deployment — functions, edge, static assets, rewrites, and redirects — is analyzed and attributed, giving you crawler analytics without touching your application code.
Promptwatch classifies each request against 25+ AI crawlers, from GPTBot and ClaudeBot training crawls to the citation fetches ChatGPT and Perplexity make when users click your links in AI answers. You'll see which routes AI crawlers visit most, how crawl activity trends over time, and the raw request log behind every number.
Log drains
Connect a Vercel log drain to Promptwatch in a few clicks.
Works with any framework
Next.js, SvelteKit, Astro, or static sites: if Vercel serves it, we see it.
Per-page crawl insights
Understand which routes AI crawlers visit most, and which they ignore.
How it works
- 1.Create a project API key in Promptwatch.
- 2.In your Vercel team settings, add a log drain for production logs (functions, edge, static, rewrites, and redirects) in JSON format.
- 3.Point it at the Promptwatch ingest URL with your API key as a custom header.
- 4.AI crawler visits appear in your Crawler Logs dashboard within minutes.
