What is MelonMesa Bot?
CentComBot is a scheduled collector for CentCom, not a crawler that roams the general web. MelonMesa uses it to aggregate records about an online multiplayer game from hosts that have opted in to the collection.
The resulting records are searchable in the CentCom panel. The crawler checks participating hosts for new data every five minutes and performs a more thorough check for modified data every 30 minutes. MelonMesa says source changes and deletions reach the application database within 30 minutes.
That timetable gives the traffic a recognizable rhythm in host logs. Requests contain the stable CentComBot token, while the published user-agent example begins with a browser-compatible string. No robots.txt behavior is documented, so support for exclusions remains unknown.
CentComBot's stated purpose is synchronizing game records from consenting sources. MelonMesa does not identify it as an AI search crawler and does not say the records are collected for model training. Its effect is confined to the CentCom data service described by the operator.
