What is TangibleeBot?
TangibleeBot reads retailer product pages for Tangiblee's visualization and virtual try-on services. Tangiblee lists the SKU, product title, product and category URLs, image URL, and product dimensions among the information its crawler uses. The collection is tied to a retailer integration rather than a public web index.
Crawling is separate from the JavaScript that displays the Tangiblee experience on a storefront. Tangiblee and the retailer agree on a schedule, from every 15 minutes to once a day, and page request pacing can be adjusted within a run. The operator describes the load as similar to one visitor.
Requests carry the TangibleeBot token. Retailers whose security rules reject automated traffic can obtain Tangiblee's crawler IP for an allowlist. The bot record marks robots.txt support, although Tangiblee's crawler help page does not describe how it handles robots rules. That leaves compliance documented in the record but not in the current operator guidance.
Blocking the crawler can stop new dimensions, images, and product details from reaching Tangiblee. Tangiblee also accepts a product feed when a retailer does not want crawling. Neither method is documented as feeding AI search or model training; the data is used for Tangiblee's retail features.
