Overview
Firecrawl is the scraping engine behind Promptwatch's agents. Whenever the platform needs to actually read a web page — yours or a competitor's — Firecrawl fetches it and converts it into clean markdown the agents can work with, handling JavaScript-heavy sites and bot protection along the way.
It shows up all over the product: the chat agent uses it to read pages during research, the knowledge base ingests website URLs through it, project onboarding scrapes your site to build your brand profile, and the Content Agent uses it to crawl your website and analyze competitor pages before writing.
