What is Alli AI Bot?
Alli AI Bot is an SEO recommendation crawler for customer websites. The AI name does not establish a general model-training role: the recorded job is to inspect a customer's site and support recommendations about it.
These visits belong to a customer analysis workflow, not continuous discovery for a public search engine. Blocking the crawler may limit that customer's Alli AI analysis. Allowing it does not create a documented path into AI search results or live answers.
Traffic can resemble an ordinary Linux Chrome browser because that is how the recorded header begins. The distinguishing text is AlliAI/1.0 at the end. A match shows that the caller claimed this identity, but it does not show which recommendation was produced from a page.
Robots.txt behavior remains uncertain. The bot metadata does not confirm compliance, while Cloudflare's bot directory marks the crawler as not following robots.txt. No verified IP range or signature mechanism is listed, so a browser-like header containing AlliAI/1.0 is not proof of origin.
