What is Orlo Link Preview?
Orlo Link Preview works inside Orlo's social media publishing workflow. When an Orlo user adds a link to a post that is being prepared or scheduled, the bot fetches the destination so the composer can show a preview before publication.
Orlo's composer guide places the link previewer behind the Edit Link action. In the same screen, a user can configure link tracking, UTM tracking, and a custom short-link prefix. Those settings concern the published URL and click reporting; the Orlo-LinkPreview request is the earlier fetch used to inspect the destination.
This traffic is tied to a user's social post, not a continuous crawl for an index. It has no documented AI search or model-training role. Blocking it may prevent an Orlo author from seeing or preparing the link preview, but it does not opt the page out of native social-network crawlers or AI systems.
Cloudflare's bot directory records the full user agent as Orlo-LinkPreview/1.0 and says it does not follow robots.txt. There is no verified IP or signature in this entry. Treat the header as a useful explanation for a request, not proof that Orlo sent it.
