What is Oseox?
Oseox is a French SEO platform that runs crawls and recurring checks for sites configured by its customers. The record identifies its crawler by the Oseox token, with Oseox/1.0 as the supplied full user agent. This is a site-audit and monitoring client, not a public search engine.
Oseox's SENTINEL tool crawls a site and produces downloadable reports of detected SEO errors and opportunities. The platform also checks selected URLs, sitemaps, HTTP tags, headers, and availability on schedules chosen by the customer. Its public page does not map each tool to a separate request signature, so an Oseox entry in a log does not reveal which check caused that request.
The crawler does not execute JavaScript, according to Oseox's compatibility notes. A JavaScript application may therefore expose only its initial HTML unless it also serves useful content without client-side rendering. Oseox also tells customers that they may need to allow its crawler through their network controls.
Nothing in the documented crawler workflow says that fetched pages enter a public AI search index or a model-training dataset. Oseox offers other content and semantic analysis tools, but that does not turn this user agent into an AI crawler. Allowing it can improve an authorized Oseox audit or monitor; it has no documented direct effect on AI citations.
