Connect Custom HTTP to Promptwatch
Overview
Not on a supported CDN? Promptwatch exposes an authenticated HTTP ingest endpoint that accepts logs from any source: nginx, HAProxy, custom middleware, or your own log shipper. If you can send an HTTP request, you can get AI crawler analytics.
Send events one at a time or in batches as simple JSON — timestamp, path, status code, user agent, IP, and referrer — authenticated with a project API key. Promptwatch handles the rest: classifying requests across 25+ AI crawlers and rolling them up into the same trends, top pages, and log explorer as the native CDN integrations.
Works with any stack
Send logs from any server, proxy, or pipeline that can make HTTP requests.
API-key authentication
Secure the endpoint with a project-scoped API key.
Flexible payloads
Send single events or batches in a simple, shipper-agnostic JSON format.
How it works
- 1.Create a project API key in Promptwatch.
- 2.POST request events as JSON (single or batched) to the ingest endpoint with your API key header.
- 3.Your AI crawler traffic shows up in the same dashboards as every native integration.
