Connect Google Cloud CDN to Promptwatch

Deliver Cloud CDN logs through Pub/Sub.

Overview

Google Cloud CDN and Load Balancing logs flow through Cloud Logging, which can route them to Promptwatch via a log sink and a Pub/Sub push subscription. Once connected, AI crawler visits to your GCP-hosted sites show up in your crawler analytics automatically.

Authentication is fully GCP-native: the push subscription signs requests with your service account, and Promptwatch verifies the Google-signed token — no API key to manage on the ingest path. From each log entry, Promptwatch reads the request URL, method, status, user agent, and IP, classifies it across 25+ AI crawlers, and surfaces trends, top pages, and raw request logs.

Pub/Sub delivery

Route Cloud Logging entries to Promptwatch with a log sink and Pub/Sub topic.

GCP-native auth

The push subscription authenticates with your service account's Google-signed token.

Complete request history

Analyze crawler visits across your load balancers and CDN endpoints.

How it works

  1. 1.Save your GCP service account email in your Promptwatch project settings.
  2. 2.Create a Pub/Sub topic and a push subscription pointing at the Promptwatch ingest endpoint, authenticated with that service account.
  3. 3.Add a Cloud Logging Log Router sink that routes your load balancer and CDN logs to the topic.
