The Free AI Visibility Report: A No-Login Snapshot of Your AI Search Presence [New Feature]

Generate a free snapshot of any brand's AI Search visibility, score, competitors, and blockers in seconds.

Promptwatch has released a free AI Visibility Report, a benchmark you can generate for any brand without creating an account, logging in, or connecting any data.

The scorecard

At the top sit five figures that summarize where the brand stands: a Visibility Score with a plain-language band next to it (a site scoring well might read "Commanding," for example), an Agent readiness score measuring how many AI-readiness standards the site actually meets, how often the brand was Mentioned across the sample AI answers the report just collected, its Average position when mentioned, and its Citation rate, how often those answers cited the site as a source rather than just naming it in passing.

Brand visibility

This section shows total visibility per brand: how prominently the site and its named competitors appear across the live AI answers gathered for the report, so it's clear at a glance who's winning the comparison and by how much.

What AI answers today

Rather than stopping at a score, the report shows its work. Every sample prompt it ran is listed with the real, expandable answer from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, each tagged with whether the brand was mentioned and at what position in that answer. "We're mentioned" stops being an abstraction, it's an actual response you can read end to end.

Agent readiness

This is the most technical section, and the most actionable one. First, a pass/fail check across nine named AI crawlers, OpenAI's GPTBot, SearchBot, and ChatGPT Citations; Anthropic's Claude Bot and Claude Search Bot; Perplexity's Bot and Citations crawler; Google's Gemini; and Meta's External Agents showing exactly which ones can reach the site and which are blocked outright. Below that, the same pass/fail treatment runs against a wider checklist of AI-readiness standards, grouped into discoverability (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, link headers, DNS-AID), content accessibility (whether the homepage will serve markdown to an agent instead of only HTML), and bot access control (explicit AI bot rules, Content Signals, Web Bot Auth). Most sites have never been audited against this list, because it didn't exist as a category until AI crawlers did.

Action plan

The report closes with a prioritized, plain-language fix list, what to address first, each item tagged by severity and given a one-line reason rather than just a checkbox. A "Copy as prompt" button turns the whole list into a single prompt that can be pasted straight into an AI coding assistant to work through in order, so the report doesn't stop at diagnosis, it hands off a starting point for the fix.

Why it exists

It's built to answer a question a lot of people are asking for the first time: "how visible is my brand in AI Search, right now, without signing up for anything?" That matters because AI visibility is still a category without shared vocabulary most people evaluating it have no internal precedent to compare against. A free, instant report gives them a concrete starting point instead of an abstract pitch.

It also has an obvious use for agencies: generate one report and use it as the opening move in a pitch rather than presenting the category cold. A PDF export is planned, so the report can be sent directly to a prospect or dropped straight into a deck.

Where to find it

The free AI Visibility Report is available now. From there, Topic Insights and the new Search Insights view go a layer deeper than the free report, citations, crawls, and clicks broken down page by page and topic by topic, not just a single score.
