What is Crawlson?
Crawlson has one recorded job: crawling pages for the crawlson.com search engine. When it requests a URL, the traffic belongs to that search service's collection workflow.
The fetch gives Crawlson page material for its engine, but it does not confirm that crawlson.com indexed the URL or will return it for a query. Neither available record assigns the bot an AI-search or model-training role. Its reach is the Crawlson search product, not general AI visibility.
In access logs, the full recorded value is Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Crawlson/1.0; +https://www.crawlson.com/domain). The Crawlson product token works for matching and a dedicated robots.txt group. Another client could still copy that plain header text.
Both the bot metadata and Cloudflare say Crawlson follows robots.txt. That makes a crawler-specific policy useful, though logs remain the place to confirm actual traffic. No verified IP range or request-signature directory is listed.
