What is Notabot?
Notabot is Helpfeel's crawler for integrating an external search engine. It retrieves website pages so Helpfeel's search integration can work with that content. The name sounds generic, but the catalog assigns it specifically to Helpfeel.
Its effect is narrower than general web search. The record also gives Notabot no generative AI or model-training role, so allowing it should not be described as a way to enter public AI answers.
The recorded user agent is only Notabot. There is no version or browser wrapper, and the value omits a product URL. It works for basic traffic grouping but not source verification because any HTTP client can send the same text.
A fetch shows that the Helpfeel workflow reached the page, not that the page became searchable. Helpfeel's Notabot has no confirmed robots.txt behavior in this metadata, and Cloudflare reports that it does not comply. The record contains no verified IP identity or signature directory, so required restrictions need independent enforcement.
